Individual therapy
The systemic approach considers the individual person in his entity and in relation with the different systems in which he/ she is embedded. An individual therapeutic approach aims to help the person to situate herself / himself in the family system, the environment, the workplace by clarifying the generation process of the problem and the relation difficulties which cause questioning or suffering.
Each individual is constructing him / herself in his/ her family. The individual systemic therapy also considers the family history, the transmitted values or the acquired behaviours.
Putting into words the lived experience of the person who seeks help, the development of his/ her capacity to tell her/ his story and becoming an actor of his life will be some of the goals of the therapeutic work.
Each person whether it is a child, an adolescent or an adult can, during her or his lifetime, display psychological difficulties which exceeds the possible support of their natural environment.
Addressing children and adolescents, I suggest the use of a setting including the parents or even the whole family.
Concerning adult clients, I suggest a first conversation to clarify the request and to develop a therapeutic strategy.
